About the role: 

  • Lead validation planning for new computerized and automation systems and changes to computerized and automation systems.
  • Preparation of validation deliverables for new and upgraded computerized and automation systems.
  • Manage computer system criticality assessments.
  • Provide expert computerised and automation systems validation support when required.
  • Provide input for GMP impact and risk assessments for computerised and automation systems.
  • Preparation of validation documentation and protocols.
  • Review and approval of validation documentation and protocols from third parties, including vendors and consultants.
  • Preparation and execution of reviews / revalidation.
  • Preparation and maintenance of the schedule for reviews.
  • Assess computerised and automation system events and deviations and related CAPA as appropriate.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering specializing in automation or related discipline 
  • Proficient in computer system validation and data integrity requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cGMP regulated pharmaceutical organization within computer system validation
  • You will be a quality-focused individual that possesses great leadership skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
  • Strong communication skills
