Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Systems Analyst located in Ahmedabad. The role involves analyzing and evaluating system performance, implementing system solutions, optimizing IT processes, and ensuring the efficiency of technology systems used within the organization. The Computer Systems Analyst will collaborate with various departments to identify system requirements, provide technical support, and maintain system security and functionality.

Location: Ahmedabad (with bi-weekly visit to Himmatnagar)

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (CTC)

Experience: 2–5 years (preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Computer Systems Analyst / IT Support Engineer to manage and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves providing technical support to Windows-based users, managing servers and network systems, configuring security appliances, and ensuring data safety through backup and disaster recovery processes.

The candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and capable of handling both user support and infrastructure maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows-based systems and users.

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain servers (Windows Server).

• Manage and configure Sophos firewall (security policies, VPN, monitoring, and troubleshooting).

• Maintain and monitor NAS systems and ensure regular data backup and disaster recovery processes.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network printers and related peripherals.

• Manage and support CCTV systems, including basic configuration and issue resolution.

• Perform routine system health checks, updates, and patches.

• Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and SOPs.

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, networking, and security systems.

• Visit the Himmatnagar site once every two weeks for on-site IT support and audits.

• Ensure IT systems comply with company policies and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and user support.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Windows OS and Windows Server administration

• Networking basics (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

• Firewall management (preferably Sophos)

• Backup and disaster recovery solutions (NAS, cloud or on-prem backups)

• Printer and peripheral management

• CCTV and surveillance systems (basic level)

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.

• Willingness to travel to Himmatnagar biweekly.

• Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, Sophos Certification, or equivalent.

• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
