Role Overview
We are looking for an AI/ML & Computer Vision Engineer with experience in deploying models into real hardware systems. You will own model development, dataset pipelines, and real-time edge deployment for advanced laser and photonic platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of ML, computer vision, signal processing, and controls— enabling autonomous alignment, beam pointing/acquisition/tracking (PAT), wavefront/ efficiency optimization, and intelligent health monitoring for mobile and ruggedized systems. You will work closely with optics, optomechanics, electronics, and embedded teams to turn experimental data into reliable, deployable intelligence.
What You'll Work On
Computer Vision for Alignment & Tracking
Build CV pipelines for beam/spot detection, centroiding, jitter/drift estimation, and alignment metrics.
Develop perception for acquisition and tracking (PAT), including robustness to blur, noise, glare, and environmental variation.
