We are building a pipeline that converts a 2D artwork image (RGB) into a print-ready 16-bit grayscale height map for 3D textured UV printing (white ink layering). We have paired data from our 3D topographical scans (RGB + true height) and want to train a model that predicts surface texture height while avoiding false embossing caused by color contrast (e.g., flat regions with high color difference should remain flat).
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
