POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a destination authority and an expert in local culture, providing guests with exceptional service and personalized recommendations. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience by offering insights into local attractions, dining, and activities, while upholding the highest quality standards of LQA and Forbes.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and information about local attractions, dining, and activities.
  • Assist guests with reservations, transportation, and other requests to enhance their stay.
  • Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (., transportation, reservations, laundry) by making arrangements.
  • Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities.
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Contact appropriate individual or department (., Bellperson, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.
  • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's amenities, services, and local culture.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professionalism, in line with LQA and Forbes quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Promote and upsell hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Stay updated on local events, trends, and new attractions to provide guests with the best possible recommendations.
  • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Concierge in a luxury hotel or similar environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of local culture, attractions, and activities in Costa Smeralda.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Italian. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with LQA and Forbes quality standards is a plus.
