Concrete Laboratory Technician (Durability Specialist)

We are looking for an experienced Concrete Laboratory Technician to lead our durability testing department. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in assessing the long-term performance and service life of concrete mixes ensuring compliance with BS & ASTM standards.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Duties

• Compressive strength tests for hardened concrete: Cylinders and cubes
• Durability Testing: Independently perform and monitor specialized tests including:
• Rapid Chloride Permeability (RCP)
• Water Permeability
• Water Absorption
• Initial Surface Absorption (ISAT)
• Chloride Migration test
• Specimen Preparation: Expertly handle the cutting, grinding, and epoxy coating of specimens required for durability testing.
