Description GSPANN is hiring a Configuration Engineer to manage and optimize Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune. The role involves configuring Intune policies, automating administrative tasks with PowerShell, and ensuring secure and compliant device management.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows 10/11 endpoint devices.
  • Implement and maintain Intune Autopilot to streamline device provisioning and deployment.
  • Develop and enforce Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies, compliance rules, and security baselines to ensure optimal device and application management.
  • Package and deploy applications using IntuneWinAppUtil.exe and Win32 apps.
  • Manage patching and update compliance using Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in co-managed environments.
  • Customize Windows builds to enhance performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor device health and compliance using Power BI, CMPivot, and Endpoint Analytics.
  • Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell and other scripting tools.
  • Create and manage task sequences and proactive remediation scripts.
  • Work with Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID), and Group Policy to manage hybrid identity and access.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure endpoint hardening, compliance, and policy alignment.

    • Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management.
  • Certifications required: Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102), Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100/MD-101), Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/801), and CompTIA Security (optional).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Proven experience with Intune Autopilot, MDM/MAM, and application packaging.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and process automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, OAuth, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
