The SKU Configuration Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing SKU‑level Bills of Materials (BOMs) that represent the final, sellable product configuration—including packaging, manuals, labeling, and the core item for Personal Health products. The role requires deep expertise in PLM (high preference for Windchill), configuration management practices, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure accurate product data, robust change control, and compliance with quality system and regulatory expectations (DHF/DMR readiness).
Key Responsibilities
Create, release, and maintain SKU BOMs for finished goods, inclusive of packaging, manuals/IFUs, and accessories.
Build and manage product configurations/variants/options/effectivities within PLM (Windchill preferred) and ensure synchronization with ERP.
Ensure Configuration Management (CM) processes enable creation of complete, consistent Device History File (DHF) and Device Master Record (DMR) by downstream stakeholders.
Drive and execute Change Management (e.g., ECR/ECN) ensuring controlled, auditable updates to product data.
Lead Service BOM creation and alignment with EBOM/MBOM structures for serviceability and field support.
Own master data quality across Part Management, Document Management, BOM Management, PDM Link, and related PLM objects.
Collaborate with Project Management, R&D, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality/Regulatory, and Supply Chain to define and implement configuration baselines and release plans.
Monitor and improve data governance, naming/numbering conventions, and metadata completeness to support analytics and traceability.
Support audits and CAPAs related to product data, configuration integrity, and document control.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing engineering or a closely related technical field (required)
3–6 years in PLM/Configuration Management with Windchill/SAP exposure.
Strong, hands‑on knowledge of PLM (Windchill highly preferred) and PDM Link.
Proven experience in product configuration creation and configuration management for complex products.
Working knowledge of ERP and PLM–ERP integration concepts (materials, routings, effectivity, source lists).
Demonstrated expertise in Change Management, Part Management, BOM Management, and Document Management.
Experience creating Service BOMs and aligning them to EBOM/MBOM.
Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders (PM, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Service, and Supply Chain).
Certifications (nice to have): CM2/CMII, PTC Windchill certifications,

Strong communicator; capable of transferring knowledge and enforcing standards.
Clear affinity with product development and lifecycle processes.
Team player with the willingness and ability to lead when needed.
Strong planning skills with the ability to prioritize own work.
Fluent English communication skills—verbal and written
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.”
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
