Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain configuration management policies, procedures, and standards aligned with ISO, automotive, or medical device requirements.
  • Oversee creation, approval, and maintenance of configuration baselines for products, systems, and documentation.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), deviations, and revisions to ensure proper traceability and impact analysis.
  • Administer PLM/ERP systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP) and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements; support internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
  • Lead and mentor configuration management specialists, providing training and guidance on best practices.
  • Track KPIs related to configuration accuracy, change cycle time, and compliance.
