Construction Attorney
A well-regarded and growing law firm is seeking a Construction Attorney to join its practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working on complex construction matters, values collaboration, and is looking for long-term growth within a high-quality platform. What You’ll Do
- Represent owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals in a broad range of construction law matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including AIA agreements, subcontracts, and related project documents
- Advise clients on project risk management, change orders, payment issues, and dispute avoidance strategies
- Handle construction-related disputes, including claims involving delays, defects, liens, and payment disputes
- Support matters from project inception through completion, and when necessary, through dispute resolution
- Collaborate with real estate, development, and litigation teams on construction-adjacent matters
- Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering practical, business-oriented counsel throughout the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Active attorney in good standing
- 3+ years of construction law experience
- Background representing owners, developers, contractors, or subcontractors
- Experience handling matters with increasing autonomy and responsibility
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Litigation or arbitration experience related to construction disputes is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
