Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Inspector/Checker to join a growing engineering team covering sites along the Highway 1 corridor — from Swainsboro to Sandersville (including counties like Washington, Wilkes, Emanuel, Laurens, and Jefferson).
Position Details:Pay Rate: $21–$30/hr (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM Location: Field-based across Middle Georgia; company vehicle provided Travel: Yes – local/regional (report to Augusta office once a week)
Key Responsibilities:Inspect water and sewer utilities, civil site work, and commercial building projects Document fieldwork with photos, daily logs, as-built drawings, and inspection forms Coordinate with contractors and communicate issues with the project manager Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with specs and plans
