Job Description Job Description Equipment Mechanic – Construction Equipment $25–$30/hour Monthly Bonus Potential Barnsco Texas is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty construction equipment. Pay & Benefits $25–$30 per hour (based on experience) Monthly bonus potential Full-time, stable employment Growth opportunities with a long-standing Texas company Supportive leadership and team environment What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on construction equipment Inspect and service forklifts, tractors, and trailers Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, safety checks) Prepare and submit repair bids and work orders Complete required inspections and documentation accurately and on time Assist customers with equipment service needs Communicate effectively with the Equipment Service Manager Support training of new mechanics as needed Perform road calls and emergency service when required What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction equipment or rental maintenance experience Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and understand schematics Computer-assisted diagnostic experience Ability to start and operate equipment safely Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb on/off equipment Valid driver’s license High School diploma or GED About Barnsco Texas Barnsco Texas has proudly served the Texas concrete construction industry since 1984 .
