Estimator


A highly respected General Contractor in the area with a strong and growing backlog of work is seeking an Estimator to join their team. This commercial construction company is looking for an Estimator with excellent people skills and a proven work history on commercial construction projects. Being a team player, while also having the ability to work autonomously, is a must.

This company prides itself on delivering an exceptional client experience from planning through project completion. The Estimator role is a cornerstone position, providing clarity, accuracy, and value throughout the preconstruction process.



Estimator Responsibilities




  • Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction, including labor and material


  • Utilize conceptual estimating and value engineering as needed


  • Write and present budgets, reports, and project plans


  • Develop and manage estimates for multiple, simultaneous projects


  • Collaborate with clients, owners, field personnel, and design teams


  • Maintain accuracy while working independently and meeting deadlines




Estimator Qualifications




  • 1+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects


  • B.S. in Construction Management or a related degree strongly preferred


  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze and organize data efficiently
