Scaffold E&D Foreman

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Scaffold E&D Foreman 1.

Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain work flow. Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s and scaffold inspection checklists, etc. Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development. Foreman 1 is required to work with tools from to time.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience
  • Some trade school preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
  • Bilingual a plus

    • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Must be able to safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor
  • Must have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding
  • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceeded

    • The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.     Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 26.72
