About the Role:
We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team at CSM Birmingham LLC. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various construction projects and ensuring the smooth operation of our worksites.

Responsibilities:

• Laying moisture barrier on soil


• Light carpentry


• Hauling material


• Assisting with install of pumps and dehumidifiers


• Digging drains, light plumbing, light masonry, and tool inventory/maintenance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with construction and repair (preferred), most notably repairs in the crawlspace, including structural repair (sills, girders, joists, subfloors, piers) and moisture remediation/ waterproofing (interior french drains, moisture barriers, dehumidification systems).


• Willing to be flexible in duties from day to day and hour to hour.


• Has a Driver’s License, and is able to pass a DMV license check and have reliable transportation to and from work.


• Has excellent people skills, professional in their interactions with both customers and coworkers.


• Has a strong desire to reach and exceed set goals in all areas of the job.


• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.
