Construction Manager Piping

We offer you a challenging position as a Construction Manager within a multidisciplinary team handling large-scale projects (up to CHF 300 million investment volume) in our Project Management and Construction Management department. The focus lies on laboratory and production facilities for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in Switzerland, with the highest standards for cleanliness and process reliability.
Your role covers all tasks within SIA service phases 3 to 5, including tendering, awarding, and construction supervision — with a specific focus on piping systems.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors in the field of process piping
• Monitor installation quality, welding works, and compliance with isometric drawings
• Ensure GMP-compliant execution and documentation
• Adjust installation workflows according to project timelines and dependencies
• Evaluate change orders, verify quantities, and review invoices

Show your expertise

• Experience in tendering and supervising piping installations, ideally in GMP-regulated environments
• Knowledge of utility and process systems such as purified water, clean steam, CIP/SIP, compressed air, and gas supply
• Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., ASME BPE, ISO, SIA)
• Several years of professional experience in process engineering, building services, or piping construction

You are a quick thinker with a structured approach, high resilience, and flexibility. You are willing to travel for projects within a radius of up to 500 km and maintain focus even in complex or fast-paced situations. In addition to fluent German, you have strong English skills in both written and spoken form.
