Wood is currently recruiting expressions of interest for a Construction Manager with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This opportunity is On-site at various locations throughout the USA, travel or temporary relocation is required. The Construction Manager will manage and control construction cost and schedule and oversee the planning, execution, and completion projects. This role requires extensive experience leading projects and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry Experience in Solar, Electrical, Power, Renewables, Batter/BESS Systems, and High Voltage is highly deseriable, and/or Industrial construction projects including Chemical Plants, Refining, and Power Plants. Able to establish and maintain a positive and effective customer relationship, ensuring payment terms are met, and communicating any delays. Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills Display both good judgment and leadership qualities Ability to work with timelines/targets. Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required. Excellent interpersonal organizational, communication and team building skills. Role model Wood’s values & behaviors undefined
