We are currently looking for a capable and proactive Construction Manager to work on a project based in Darwin, person to collaborate and work with our team based out of Sydney.
Reporting to the Project Director, this role will be responsible for driving successful delivery of complex water infrastructure projects from planning through to commissioning. This role suits a confident, solutions‑focused leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders across government, clients, and internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead end‑to‑end construction management with responsibility of project delivery.
- Plan and schedule required project resources, maximising productivity and reducing inefficiency or down‑time, with early intervention of delays.
- Ensure works comply with specifications, drawings, and Australian Standards.
- Responsible for QHSE and environmental performance and behaviours, incident reporting and corrective action as per Site Management Plans.
- Ensure environmental controls and EMP requirements are met.
- Project KPI & Milestone tracking.
- Maximise financial opportunities within the contract or for additional scope and services.
- Assist in administering the works contract including all commercial notices, financial administration, and other reporting requirements – e.g. safety or emissions, commercial risk identification and mitigation.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain stakeholder satisfaction.

About You
- Degree in Civil, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering – or equivalent relevant experience.
- Project or Construction Management certification.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, construction including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of water industry regulations, standards and best practice methodologies.
- Proven commitment to QHSE principles and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
