Construction Miner

Overview

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to all legislated mining regulations and performing the role safely; ensuring Health & Safety is the number one priority;
• Following all procedures, policies and processes at the mine site and underground workplace;
• Scale loose rocks; while having the ability to recognize and/or recommend to the mine department that they re-evaluate the area for ground conditions to ensure overall safety in specific work area;
• Installation or repair of mine services and installations in an underground mining environment;
• Operating various pieces of underground mining equipment which could include scissor decks, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, boo...
