Job Description

JOB FUNCTION:

Plans, coordinates and manages construction of various T&D electrical projects. Provides work direction and oversees the work of external contractors and construction inspectors to safely and efficiently complete electrical projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages, directs and monitors on-site contracted T&D Electrical Work (underground and overhead transmission and distribution, underground residential developments and substation), to ensure compliance with required design standards, specifications, drawings, schedules, and safety standards. Acts as the Department’s point of contact, and/or representative, for inquiries/complaints; and, as appropriate and formally or informally, ensures contractor complies.

  • Plans, acquires/arranges necessary Holdoffs, Limited Holdoffs and other electrical clearances for assigned projects.
