External Collaborator for Child Care Training Material Alignment 

Background 

The care economy, encompassing childcare, elderly care, and disability support, is emerging as a key sector for Indonesia’s inclusive growth. Besides its social importance, it is a high-potential driver of job creation and GDP growth. The Momentum to develop this sector gained speed during Indonesia’s G Presidency in , when the government made the care economy and women’s economic empowerment central to its global agenda. This led to strong policy alignment with the ASEAN Comprehensive Framework on the Care Economy () and resulted in Indonesia‘s Care Economy Roadmap and National Action Plan (-), coordinated by the National Development Agency (BAPPENAS).
