Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Dermatologist who is passionate about aesthetics and results-driven treatments.

You will lead clinical decision-making, consultations and advanced procedures, and work closely with our trained therapists and clinic team to deliver consistent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Aesthetic Practice

• Perform detailed consultations for acne, pigmentation, hair fall, anti-ageing, scars, body concerns, and overall skin health .
• Design personalised treatment plans and packages (single sessions & combinations) aligned with Dermis 365 protocols.
• Perform and supervise:
• Laser procedures (hair reduction, pigmentation, scars, rejuvenation)
• Injectables (e.g. botulinum toxin, dermal fillers* as applicable)
• Skin procedures (PRP, mesotherapy, peels, microneedling, acne scar treatments)
• Hair PRP and advanced hair protocols
• Review and optimise IV therapy protocols (skin glow, wellness, immunity etc.) in collaboration with the team.

Protocols, Safety & Quality

• Follow and refine Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) for all treatments and devices.
• Ensure patient safety, proper indications, consent, and documentation for every procedure.
• Manage and guide the team on handling complications and post-procedure care .
• Participate in clinical audits, case reviews and before–after documentation.

Team Training & Collaboration

• Train and upskill therapists, nurses and junior doctors on:
• Indications & contraindications
• Pre- and post-care
• Handling patient queries and expectations
• Work closely with the front office to ensure correct case routing, follow-ups and continuity of care.

Brand & Patient Experience

• Maintain a professional, ethical and patient-centric approach in every interaction.
• Participate (as comfortable) in:
• Educational content (talks, reels, Q&A sessions)
• Internal CMEs and protocol upgradation
• Help position Dermis 365 as a trusted, result-oriented dermatology and aesthetic brand.

Key Technologies & Devices at Dermis 365

The Consultant Dermatologist will work with (and help guide protocols for) a comprehensive range of modern aesthetic technologies , including:

Laser & Light Technologies

• Diode Laser Hair Reduction (for full body hair removal, including face & sensitive areas)
• Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (for toning, pigmentation, tanning, and tattoos)
• Fractional CO₂ laser (for acne scars, resurfacing, stretch marks, rejuvenation)
• 1550 nm Er:Glass non-ablative fractional laser (fine lines, texture, scars)
• IPL / OPT / SHR platform (pigmentation, vascular lesions, hair reduction, photofacials)
• 1927 nm Thulium laser (melasma, pigmentary disorders, rejuvenation – as part of advanced protocols)
• 980 nm vascular laser (spider veins, small vascular lesions)
• 445 nm blue laser (selected indications like nail issues / certain superficial lesions, as per protocols)

Energy-based & Body Technologies

• Monopolar / Bipolar / Multipolar RF (skin tightening, contouring, face & body)
• RF microneedling (acne scars, pores, texture, tightening)
• HIFU (non-surgical face lifting and tightening)
• HI-EMT / EMS body contouring device (muscle toning, inch loss)
• Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) for body shaping

Injectables & Regenerative Therapies

• PRP / GFC systems for hair & skin
• Mesotherapy (using mesogun and manual techniques)
• Advanced peels (face & body)
• Intralesional/intradermal therapies as needed

Diagnostics & Support

• Skin Analyser & clinical photography setup for baseline & progress tracking
• Dermatoscope for detailed skin/hair assessment
• Electrocautery / RF cautery unit for benign lesions
• Medi-facial platforms / hydrafacial-type devices
• IV therapy setup with recliner lounge for infusion therapies

(Exact brands/models will be shared during the discussion; the clinic is being equipped with high-quality international OEM platforms .)

Qualifications

• MBBS + MD / DNB Dermatology from a recognised institution.
• Valid Medical Council registration (Karnataka registration / eligibility to register in Karnataka).
• 2–5+ years of post-PG experience in Dermatology; at least 1–2 years in Aesthetic Dermatology / Cosmetology preferred.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Lasers (at least diode + Q-switch; more is a plus)
• Chemical peels, PRP, mesotherapy
• Acne scar treatments and pigmentation management

Preferred Profile

• Strong interest in aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology with a structured, ethical approach.
• Comfortable working with protocols, documentation and EMR-based practice .
• Good communication skills in English ; knowledge of Kannada/Hindi is a plus.
• Patient-centric, calm in handling queries/concerns, and willing to educate patients.
• Open to participating in training, CMEs and content as a clinical face of the brand (if comfortable).

• Engagement Type: Full-time / Part-time / Fixed visiting days – can be discussed.
