DNV’s power price forecasting activity is structured around internal processes and tools that combine a fundamental approach (dispatch models) with statistical and artificial intelligence methods to understand and replicate the market agents’ interaction with the different power and ancillary services markets.
We seek an experienced **Engineer** (Spanish speaker) with a keen interest in Energy and experience in software, and knowledge in programming languages (Python, VBA), and SQL is mandatory.
The position will be based in Mexico City.
**What You'll Do**
- The **Consultant** is expected to cover Colombian Electricity Price Modelling:
- Markets trends (expansion plan, commodities)
- Scenario analysis (climate, electric vehicle, distributed, and self-consumption)
