Consultant- FICO

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in a functional role involving SAP product or project delivery.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) & SAP Finance (FI) modules. Specifically Cost Center Accounting: Organizational Structures, Master Data and all Allocation processes. Cost Center Hierarchy, Assessments, Distributions, Activity Allocations, Indirect Activity Allocations, Manual Cost Allocations, etc.

• Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) module from a Cost Accounting perspective. Specifically: Settlements, Allocations of Overheads via Costing Sheets, etc.

• Understanding of integration points between SAP FI, CO, and PS.

• Familiarity with Sales and Distribution (SD) Contracts and Billing is a plus.

• Familiarity with Government Accounting Principles and the ICE Model for Incurred Cost Claim is a plus.

• Experience with QA methodologies, testing cycles, and test case documentation.

• Ability to write clear functional specifications and collaborate within agile product development teams.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a functional consultant for SAP products, primarily within the Project Accounting track.

• Understand product features and contribute to the preparation of functional specifications, solution configuration, use case development, and quality testing.

• Document test cases and system behavior across multiple SAP client landscapes.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; design solutions or enhancements; and facilitate stakeholder approvals.

• Execute quality testing across internal systems to troubleshoot customer issues and validate new features.

• Support product demonstrations, training workshops, and documentation efforts for both internal and external stakeholders.
