Qualification: MD (Pediatrics) / MD–DM (Neonatology)
Experience: Post-MD minimum 5 years

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Consultant Neonatologist trained at a prestigious medical college with proven clinical expertise in managing high-risk neonates. The incumbent should have hands-on experience working with reputed multi-specialty or tertiary care hospitals, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, leadership, and commitment to quality neonatal care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care including Level II & Level III NICU services.
- Manage high-risk neonates, including extreme prematurity, low birth weight babies, neonatal sepsis, respiratory distress, and congenital anomalies.
- Perform and supervise neonatal procedures such as intubation, ventilation, central line insertion, exchange transfusion, etc.
- Lead neonatal resuscitation during high-risk deliveries in coordination with obstetrics teams.
NICU Operations & Quality
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, NABH / JCI standards, and infection control practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, mortality and morbidity reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Optimize NICU outcomes through evidence-based practices and continuous monitoring.
Team Leadership & Training
- Mentor and guide junior doctors, residents, nurses, and paramedical staff.
- Conduct regular clinical teaching sessions and case discussions.
- Promote a culture of patient safety, teamwork, and ethical practice.
Best Medical Practice
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing counseling and updates with empathy and clarity.
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialties and support departments for comprehensive neonatal care.
Desired Profile
- MD (Pediatrics) / DM (Neonatology) from a reputed / prestigious medical institution.
- Minimum 5 years of post-MD clinical experience in Neonatology.
- Experience working with leading corporate hospitals, teaching hospitals, or tertiary care centers.
