Compensation: $48-$108 per hour

We are seeking experienced management consulting professionals to contribute to high-impact, project-based AI research initiatives in partnership with a leading AI lab. In this fully remote, contract role, you will translate real-world consulting workflows into structured tasks, datasets, and evaluation frameworks to help advance AI systems’ reasoning, analysis, and decision-making capabilities. The work is well-suited for independent, detail-oriented consultants comfortable with asynchronous collaboration.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Deconstruct end-to-end consulting workflows—from problem structuring and analysis to synthesis and recommendations—into clear task specifications and evaluation criteria
• Review, edit, and benchmark AI-generated outputs such as market analyses, strategy presentations, operating models, and written recommendations
• Develop high-quality reference artifacts (issue trees, analytical frameworks, slides, and memos) that reflect real-world consulting standards
• Identify gaps, flawed assumptions, and logical weaknesses in AI outputs; document failure modes and improvement guidelines
• Collaborate asynchronously with researchers and fellow consultants using shared documents and structured written feedback

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or a well-regarded boutique consultancy
• Strong command of core consulting methodologies, including problem definition, hypothesis-driven analysis, and executive-level synthesis
• Excellent structured thinking, written communication, and collaboration skills
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including market sizing, financial and operating analysis, and qualitative research

Engagement Details

• Time Commitment: 10+ hours per week
• Work Style: Deliverables-driven with clearly defined success criteria
