About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead complex development initiatives, solve technical challenges, and contribute to the design and architecture of our legal technology solutions. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners, mentoring developers, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical lead and point of contact for external technology partners.
  • Contribute to product design and architecture.
  • Collaborate with customers and end users to understand needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on coding and technical issues.
  • Write and review technical specifications and complex code.
  • Resolve advanced bugs and performance issues.
  • Design and manage complex data models.
  • Mentor and support the growth of other developers.
  • Participate in cross-functional planning and project execution.

    • Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Based in Mexico City or willing to commute 2 days per week to our Reforma office.
  • Strong experience with .NET (C#) and JavaScript (Angular), and modern development tools.
  • Expertise in data modeling, optimization, and test-driven development.
  • Familiarity with architectural principles and scalable system design.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and external technology providers.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
