Description and Requirements

The Product Manager Consumer will be responsible for developing and executing the end-to-end product strategy across PCs, Tablets, Accessories, Software, and Services to drive sustainable business growth. This role requires strong ownership of the 4P strategy, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable product and go‑to‑market plans.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product & Portfolio Management

  • Build and execute the full 4P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) for the Consumer portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
  • Lead the creation and ongoing optimization of a profitable and well‑balanced product portfolio, ensuring a competitive and customer‑centric product mix.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution, including roadmap definition, demand planning, and performance tracking.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, segmentation analysis, and competitive benchmarking to anticipate trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate and adapt product strategies in response to evolving market conditions, technology shifts, and competitive pressures.
  • Go‑to‑Market & Commercial Enablement

  • Develop and implement go‑to‑market plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring successful product launches and sustained market penetration.
  • Support commercial teams with product training, positioning, and portfolio insights to accelerate sales performance.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with regional and global stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Engineering to ensure cohesive product execution.
  • Engage with third‑party vendors, product partners, and ecosystem players to explore partnership and licensing opportunities that enhance the portfolio.
  • Customer‑Driven Innovation

  • Translate customer feedback and usage insights into product improvements, new features, and future product concepts.
  • Contribute to product development by ensuring that client needs and pain points are accurately represented.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Product Management (preferably 3+ years) in the technology or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with demonstrated success launching and managing products.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
