About the Team and the Role:

Films have been a core part of Ather’s journey even before we had a product out in the market. Right from capturing shaky phone footage of our most rudimentary prototype, to talking to our first ten owners or even shooting a symphonic video for our mega factory, the narrative has been one of scale, perseverance and excitement of what the future holds. The intent always was and will be to not just build a great product but a great story, and there’s no dearth of them here at Ather. With so much more to tell, we’re looking at folks who would love to be a part of this electric journey and have an innate hunger to create.

Maneuvre across the organization and a plethora of teams to capture all the action that goes behind making our products. Document how our teams discuss new ideas, test their theories and deal with the numerous challenges that pop up along the way. This could mean going behind the scenes with an engineer, filming our brutal product testing or even having a simple conversation with our founders.

If action behind a camera is inherently what you seek and you thoroughly enjoy manifesting it into reality on edit, here’s a space for you to do what excites you the most one frame at a time. Think lights, camera and warp!

Responsibilities:

• Your core objective is to shoot, edit, and create amazing content for the brand, primarily designed for the internet.
• Create highly engaging video content tailored for the internet, designed to maximize audience interaction and brand reach.
• Possess a strong pulse on the digital landscape, and be up to date with visual trends and formats
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external creators to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute creative projects.
• Establish and uphold a consistent visual language that aligns with the brand's voice and tone across all marketing channels.
• Ensure all high res footages/images and project files are backed up and easily accessible.
• Manage, update and maintain internal camera and lighting equipment

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience as a cinematographer and editor with a strong portfolio, preferably in the branded content space.

Must have Competencies:

• Proficiency with professional camera equipment, lensing, lighting, and sound management from production to post-production.
• Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects.
• A strong understanding of the complete filmmaking process, from pre-production to final edit.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, follow through on projects, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Up to date and comfortable with creating/optimizing content using AI tools
• A keen desire to learn new technologies, software, and techniques to stay current with industry trends.

Good to have Competencies:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
