Overview

Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE) is seeking to hire a Junior Content Specialist for GCOE Business Enablement vertical. As the Junior Content Specialist for GCOE Business Enablement vertical, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content to engage internal and external audiences. You will focus on supporting the content team by creating and editing content for our website, social media, blogs, email marketing, and other internal and external digital and physical platforms while ensuring alignment with Gallagher’s brand voice and messaging. You will ensure the smooth and efficient transition & delivery of various shared services functions to internal stakeholders. Your role will also involve assisting in the research, writing, and editing of content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the shared services team. You will be interacting with teams present in Bengaluru and Pune. Exposure to SEO principles and social media platforms is a definite plus. How you'll make an impact Responsibilities: Assist in the research, writing, and editing of content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with Gallagher's marketing strategy, tone, and brand guidelines. Optimize content for SEO best practices and ensure it reaches targeted audiences. Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and clarity. Help maintain and update website content, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all materials. Assist in tracking content performance through analytics and report on metrics such as engagement and traffic. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitors' content strategies. Championing editorial standards; providing practical recommendations to topic experts and content contributors. Content Creation: Ability to create engaging, clear, and accurate content across multiple platforms such as blogs, social media, websites, and emails. The Junior Content Specialist should be able to write in various formats while maintaining a consistent brand voice. SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) basics, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and content optimization techniques. The Junior Content Specialist should be able to write SEO-friendly content to improve visibility and engagement. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity of written content. The Junior Content Specialist must proofread and edit content to eliminate errors, ensuring it is error-free, aligns with the company's standards and quality expectations. Brand Awareness: Understanding Gallagher’s brand voice and messaging. The Junior Content Specialist must ensure that all content aligns with the GCoE branding guidelines and contributes positively to the brand’s image. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders, as well as for effectively conveying ideas and content. About you Qualifications: Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field. Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field. Master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field is a plus. Certificate(s)/Special Training: Certification in Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Social Media Marketing is preferred. Training in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) is advantageous. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress. Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus. Training in analytics tools such as Google Analytics is beneficial. Experience: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 2-6 years of experience in content creation or digital marketing. Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media platforms. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Timely delivery of written content (blogs, articles, social media posts). SEO performance improvements (organic search rankings, keyword optimization). Audience engagement (click-through rates, shares, comments). Accuracy and clarity in all written content. Understanding of marketing analytics and reporting tools, , Google Data Studio. Strong, competent writing and editing skills.
