About the Role

As the Content Strategy & Development Specialist, you’ll work with the Manager, Campaigns and Content turn strategy into practical resources that improve CQU’s content quality, consistency, relevance, output and impact.

You’ll combine hands‑on content planning and copywriting for varied audiences, formats and channels with systems thinking to create frameworks, templates and processes that enable content to scale across teams and formats. Using insights, analytics and emerging technologies, including responsible AI, you’ll drive continuous improvement and support adoption through strong stakeholder collaboration.

This role is ideal for a resourceful, strategic, and detail‑driven content marketer who enjoys simplifying complexity, crafting clear and compelling copy, building capability and developing ways to work smarter, not harder, when it comes to content.

Position Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or similar with at least four years’ subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Advanced knowledge of content strategy principles, development and execution, including strong writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel content planning and adaptation (e.g., across web, SEM, eDMs, organic social, campaigns and other marketing collateral).
  • Understanding of brand management frameworks, writing guidelines and content governance with experience developing templates, process and tools that uplift capability across teams.
  • Familiarity with analytics, digital content systems and emerging technologies, including responsible use of AI is highly regarded, along with excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
