Responsibilities

  • Test Planning : Collaborate with the QA team and developers to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Manual Testing : Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Automation Testing : Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or similar).
  • Defect Reporting : Identify and document defects, issues, and inconsistencies with clear and detailed steps for reproduction.
  • Regression Testing : Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce new issues or impact existing functionality.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless testing process and timely issue resolution.
  • Test Documentation : Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
