Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of continental dishes to a high standard.
- Develop and create new recipes and menus based on seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met in the kitchen.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels of ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-8 years of experience in a similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
