Job Description

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Standard Work, Kanban, SMED).
  • Improve production flow in machining, assembly, composites, special processes, and testing areas.
  • Reduce defects, rework, and non‑conformances through data-driven problem solving (A3, 5 Whys, RCCA/8D).
  • Support AS9100/NADCAP compliance, documentation, and process control.
  • Analyze KPIs (OEE, scrap, FPY, throughput) and conduct time/capability studies.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations on cross-functional CI projects.
  • Train and coach teams on Lean tools and continuous improvement culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 3+ years of CI or manufacturing experience in Aerospace & Defense or other high‑reliability industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean methods; Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Experience with AS9100, FAI/AS9102, PFMEA, SPC, and configuration control.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Minitab, or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams
  • Attention to detail in a regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
