In India JOST has established plants in Jamshedpur and Chennai. The company manufactures auto components of proprietary nature for commercial vehicles and agriculture tractors. The companys major customers include Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Daimler, Mahindra, Volvo Eicher etc. apart from Major Trailer builders like Satrac, Black Diamond Motors, Jupiter Wagons etc. The company also engages in exports to intercompany locations as well as third party customers across the world employing around 4,052 people in more than 37 production and sales locations across continents. There are four strong product brands:
