As an IMS DBA you will join a mainframe to cloud modernization company where you will work with industry changing tools to take mainframe systems to the cloud! This role will help move massive amounts of data in rapid fashion. On this project you will work with systems that are over a 1/2 of a petabyte in size that perform over 500 millions updates every 8 hours and perform over 300 million updates every 4 hours in batch!

In this role you work directly with Cloud Providers and leading edge tools while performing IMS DBA duties. You will start by doing discovery & analysis to understand the environment, determine what can be performance tuned on the mainframe, find optimization opportunities, synchronization of the data, & monitor and measure performance. You will then perform some design on where data can be moved.
