Contract Manager - Industrial Project (Leipzig Area, Germany)
Location: Construction site, south of Leipzig

Contract: freelance / consultancy - 12 months
Mobility: On-site presence required

As part of the project - the construction of a large-scale industrial plant in the Leipzig area, we are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee and secure all contractual aspects throughout project execution (client interface, subcontractor agreements, claim management, budget, deadlines, etc.).
Your Responsibilities
To approve the Contractor progress invoicesEach month: to check the work progress and corresponding order amount to be invoiced, proposed by the ContractorTo analyse and prepare answers to any claims or potential claims, notices of hindrance, issued by the site contractors.To inform the Project Manager of any project risk linked to site activities (safety, cost and schedule)To prepare the acceptances certificates during the different erection commissioning sequencesTo manage the administration of the contractsTo manage the preparation of correspondence and maintains records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all Contractual mattersAdministration, review and recommendation on contract changes, review and settlement of claims, resolution of disputes and contract change negotiations.To assist the Project/Site Manager in contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to contractor, release of bonds etc.To make amendments to contractual documents as requiredTo assist where required with the procurement process including, but not limited to, advance review of construction plans and specifications, assistance in preparation of contracts, coordinating and scheduling clarification meetings with contractors, amendment preparation and contract negotiationsTo assist the Project/Site Manager in devising and executing action plans to rectify potential cost overruns, schedule delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.Your Profile
Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar Contract Management role on industrial projects (EPC / EPCM)Solid background in engineering and site-based project executionProven ability to work with multidisciplinary international teamsFluent in German and English (French is a plus)Autonomous, rigorous, pragmatic communicator and negotiatorStrong analytical mindset and ability to drive risk mitigation and resolutionPassionate about our businessWilling to travel, worldwide (up to 20% of time)Available for on-site work in Leipzig (major presence required)What We Offer
