Responsibilities

✅ Key Responsibilities--

• Act as the Contract SME and first point of contact for business functions during contracting lifecycle.
• Evaluate contractual risks and recommend controls for Information Security and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments for new/existing clients and drive process improvements.
• Review legal documents with quick turnaround and minimal escalation.
• Train teams on unique risks and ensure compliance requirements are embedded in contracts.
• Lead HCLTech’s Contract Risk Program to reduce client-side risks.

✅ Core Competencies--

• Must have (knowledge of at least one of the below domains) – 1. AI: a) AI Governance & Risk Frameworks, b) AI Technical Literacy (must understand models, training data, etc), c) AI risk assessments across people–process–tech for AI initiatives, d) Understand Ethical AI Compliance.
• 2. -- Cloud: a) Cloud Security Basics, b) Cloud data governance, c) IAM fundamentals & MFA, d) Encryption & data segregation, e) Cloud risk evaluation & contract alignment
• Must have: Client and Vendor Contract Review experience (preferred in an IT Services, Big 4, service industry). Good Knowledge and understanding of review of legal and contractual documents
• Must have: Experience in handling Data Privacy, Information Security and/ or Regulator Compliance related risks
• Strong knowledge of legal/contractual reviews and global IT services industry.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.

Qualifications & Experience--

• Education: Degree in Law, Computer Science, Business, or Technology (Masters preferred).
• Certifications: Must have: One or more certification like CRISC, CISSP, CIPP, CISM, CISA or relevant technology certifications such as ISO 27001 LI/ LA, NIST CSF, CIS
• Experience: 14–16 years in Risk Management , Information Security , and Regulatory Compliance .
