Contract SDET (Java)

MCS Group is looking for an experienced SDET / Software Developer in Test to join a delivery-focused team on an initial 3-month contract. The role is hands-on and suited to someone with a strong Java background and a passion for test automation and quality engineering. The Details: Strong hands-on Java experience (automation-focused) is essential. Cucumber or Gherkin experience is also required, and is experience of working according to TDD (Test-Driven Development) Additional experience with Playwright or Rest Assured framework experience is nice to have but is not essential. You will be working closely with developers and QA to design, build, and maintain automated test solutions in a modern engineering environment.
