Job Description

Our client is seeking two Contract Sourcing Specialists, who have previously worked in a State Government organisation, to join their innovative Procurement Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within our client's Procurement division. Reporting to the leader of the Sourcing Delivery Team, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing tenders and quotes, acting as a liaison between Category Managers and Contract Managers. These positions are initially for 3 months, with potential extension to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for tenders and quotes, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Managers to understand sourcing needs and develop effective strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate seamless handover of sourced contracts to Contract Managers, maintaining clear communication throughout.
  • Previous exposure to Victorian Government procurement practices.
