CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the ECHELON III/IV COMMANDS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD FAR EAST. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Responsibilities You will conduct post-award conferences with contractor and government personnel to ensure all parties understand contractual requirements and provisions. You will advise recurring activities prior solicitation on the use of fixed-price and cost-type contracting, processing unsolicited proposals, multiple awards, award fees, and special provisions. You will recommend and develop the most suitable type of contract. You will participate in acquisition planning for anticipated procurements. You will interpret procurement regulations and policies.
