About the Role

We now have an opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our small Procurement team on a 5-year fixed term basis, reporting to the Head of Procurement. The role holder will:

  • Work closely with our Technical and Scientific teams to ensure that contracts for Diamond-II are monitored and then delivered on time, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure their performance is in line with expectations and resolve disputes to ensure a satisfactory outcome is achieved, while working closely with Diamond staff
  • Carry out supplier visits in the UK and overseas to check conformance with specification and schedule
  • Collate visit and monthly report information, reporting to Senior Management on supplier progress and providing strategies to deal with any issues.
