Contracts & Procurement Head

About the Role

An experienced senior civil engineer with demonstrated expertise in Cost Management, Design, Drawings and real estate tender evaluation. Longer experience in residential real estate development is an added advantage. This person I expected to create , lead and finalize tender documentation and tender discussion. Handling RFQ, analyzing technical and commercial deviations is a key part of this role. This person should have directly handled project budgeting, contract evaluation and tender awards in mid to large real estate projects. In terms of current needs, expertise in SAP and Auto CAD and other tech enabled features is a must.

Responsibilities

• Have robust access to a wide range of vendors and consultants across main cities of Inida
• Advising the Project team on the contractual issues with respect to Contract Documents.
• Governing the contract by tracking the Bank guarantees, Insurance, Performance Guarantee, and professional Indemnity.
• Closure of Contracts and accounts in line with the agreed contract, thus recommending for the final settlement to the contractor’s & for claims by contractor ensuring all the necessary supporting documents as mentioned in the contract.
• Develop & Ensure change management process is implemented, and all Changes / Variations are processed and approved on time extensions.
• Contractors / vendor performance, improve efficiencies and value for money initiatives & should have substantial data base from the previous experience to organize vendor with minimum TAT.
• Continuous vendors management to make contracts & purchase more competitive & effective - Building and maintaining the vendor network to ensure that a good pool of credible vendors develop long term partnerships.
• This involves scanning for potential vendors, performing feasibility and quality checks by user departments, getting market feedback, checking vendor registrations and documentation as per rules & regulations and empanelment of sub contractors.
