Troocoo is proud to partner with a leading Tier 1 mining organisation, based in  Perth’s CBD for a minimum 12 month contract.

This globally recognised company is currently seeking a Contract Specialist to join their high-performing team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a range of high-value projects across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex contracts within a well-established and supportive environment, while contributing to the success of major capital projects within the mining sector.
  
Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a high standard of end-to-end procurement and contract management across a portfolio of capital contracts.
  • Leading key commercial negotiations and ensuring supplier partnerships deliver long-term value.
  • Development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the project.
  • Liaising with senior project stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement outcomes.
  • Anticipating and mitigating supply chain risks across project lifecycles.
  • Driving supplier performance and contract compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality commercial deliverables, including data-driven strategies.
  • Providing a high level of engagement with internal stakeholders while influencing and managing external supplier relationships.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end contract management, including tendering, evaluation, and negotiation within large capital projects - ideally in the rail,  mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams.
