Control Systems Engineer

The Control Systems Engineer will ensure the reliability, security, and optimisation of critical real‑time operational systems that support the safety and efficiency of the Channel Tunnel infrastructure. These bespoke systems include Rail Traffic Management, Engineering Management, Tunnel Fire Detection, Terminal Access Control, Terminal Traffic Management, Video Surveillance, WindAlert, Icecast, and associated networks, operating 24/7. This role is safety‑critical and requires strong technical expertise combined with a proactive and collaborative approach.

• Maintain and optimise real‑time control systems to ensure maximum availability, integrity, and compliance with safety and security standards.
• Lead and support system upgrades, migrations, and future‑proofing projects, including creating functional specifications and technical documentation.
