Our client, a growing DoD contractor, is seeking a Financial Controller. This is a key position within the organization which reports to the CFO and will collaborate with the executive leadership team on strategies and initiatives while overseeing/managing all aspects of accounting and finance
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and regulatory requirements, particularly in the context of government contracting.
· Coordinate monthly close process including, but not limited to, oversight of bi-weekly program billings process, payroll and payables processing and monthly budget variance analysis.
· Manage and oversee the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
