Job Description

The Mexico Division Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of Mexico operations, including:


  • Financial Management: Oversee accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, planning, budgeting, credit and collections, cost accounting, and financial control systems.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the local finance team; coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.

  • Strategic Analysis: Prepare forward-looking income statements and balance sheet forecasts, including inventory, capital expenditures, and margin analysis to support decision-making.

  • Internal Controls: Develop effective internal controls and establish financial governance and oversight.

  • Cost Control: Implement systems to monitor manufacturing costs and profitability by product line and customer.

  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with manufacturing and sales leaders to improve operational efficiency, manage costs, and support process improvements.

  • Corporate Initiatives: Support global objectives, including the planned transition to SAP and other ad hoc projects.

  • Regional Support: Provide financial oversight for Latin America operations as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA or CPA/CPC preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of broad-based financial experience, preferably in manufacturing or textile industries.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting, and intercompany transactions.

  • Advanced SAP proficiency and experience with ERP implementations.

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
