Opportunity

Reporting directly to the owners of this $30M+ company, the Controller is responsible for directing the accounting team, managing all aspects of the accounting and finance function, liaising with bankers, lawyers, external accountants, etc.

This opportunity will appeal to individuals who enjoy working in a friendly, supportive, and informal office environment with a predicable work schedule.

Experience in the construction industry would be an asset.

Controller – Job Responsibilities

Annual

• Coordinate year-end files for the Operating Company, two Holding Companies, and the Joint Venture for external accountant review.
• Prepare annual fiscal budgets.
• Manage commercial and liability insurance renewals.
• Prepare and file GST returns for two Holding Companies and remit Joint Venture property tax.
