Job Description
The General Ledger Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end general accounting activities. Also, you will work and coordinate with the onshore local finance leads.
The overall purpose of the role is:
Ensure transactions are processed accurately as per procedures defined in documentationHave basic knowledge of finance to understand how the F&A process works (journals, profit & loss, final accounts)Perform simple reconciliations, process journal entries, as per country’s finance team’s requirement and resolve customer queries.Carry out reconciliation and analysis of the balance sheet control accounts and work towards resolution of open items and reconcile few P/L accounts required for the tax schedule.Identify potential areas for process improvements and highlight the same to SupervisorsProvide relevant process reports / statutory reports daily basis.Meet defined S...
