Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and configuring PLC hardware, and will be responsible for integrating various machines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, install, and configure PLC logic for each sensor.
  • Connect a mix of machines such as Stamping Press, Robot Welder, and Laser.
  • Connect PLC to an OPC server, which may be onsite or cloud-based.
  • Provide training to maintenance and IT staff to enable replication and maintenance going forward.
    • Essential Skills
  • PLC programming, installation, and software.
  • Experience with PLC hardware installation and configuration.
  • Experience in connecting PLCs to OPC servers.
